遭遇“生物鐘離婚”？

When that fierce desire to have children isn’t shared, it's very painful. According to new research, one in ten marriages now end in ‘biological clock divorce’.

Some people will automatically blame women for delaying motherhood while they further their careers. Last year, the average age for a woman to have her first baby tipped over the age of 30 for the first time.

很多人自然地將推遲要孩子歸因于女性追求事業(yè)，去年，英國女性生育頭胎的平均年齡首次超過30歲。

But it’s not just career women who are to blame for postponing parenthood. The truth about ‘biological clock’ divorces is far more complex and is increasingly as much a reflection of modern men’s reluctance to take on the responsibility of having a family as it is about a woman’s professional ambition.
