科比“告別賽”就在今天

4月14日以后，球迷在NBA賽場再也看不到這個馳騁20年的小飛俠了。在夢開始的洛杉磯斯臺普斯中心，科比將親手為故事畫上最后的句號。

The eyes of the basketball world will turn to Staples Center on Thursday as the NBA regular season draws to a close with Kobe Bryant preparing to bid farewell to the sport.

14日，籃球界的目光都將聚焦斯臺普斯中心，因為NBA常規(guī)賽季即將迎來科比•布萊恩特的告別。

在報道中，farewell意為“告別”，詞性是名詞。Bid farewell to/make farewell to 表示向...告別，例如：他向他的家人告別(He made his farewell to his family)。

“告別賽”可以用farewell match表示，也可以用 swan song表示。Swan song這個說法有點決絕和傷感，來源于一個說法，天鵝終其一生都默不出聲，但是在死前會發(fā)出一段優(yōu)美的“歌聲”?，F在的用法中，swan song多被用來指代隱退或者臨死之前做出的最后一次努力或表演。

這場比賽是科比的告別賽，也是他最后一次作為球員上場打球(hit/take the court for the last time as a player )。這是體育史上一個標志性的時刻(an iconic moment in sports history)。

科比的告別賽引起了轟動。洛杉磯地鐵局為了致敬科比，將距離斯臺普斯球館最近的地鐵站暫時改名為“Kobe Station”(科比站)，該站原名為Pico Station，這次臨時的更名活動將會持續(xù)24個小時。

科比在中國也人氣不減?？票戎谥袊蛎裕腿缭浀?ldquo;貓王”埃爾維斯-普雷斯利和披頭士樂隊之于美國歌迷一樣。為了致敬科比，杭州一家公司14日放了“科比假”。也有不少“科蜜”遠赴賽場見證最后一戰(zhàn)。
