英國大學(xué)提供“無酒精”宿舍

如今，英國大學(xué)招生競爭越來越激烈，為了爭取生源，很多大學(xué)都積極改進校園設(shè)備，為學(xué)生提供不少貼心設(shè)施。近日，圣安德魯斯大學(xué)就別出心裁，為學(xué)生推出“無酒精”宿舍(alcohol-free accommodation)。

 

 

The move from St Andrews University is thought to be the first time alcohol-free student accommodation has been offered in Scotland.

圣安德魯斯大學(xué)成為蘇格蘭首個向?qū)W生提供“無酒精”宿舍的大學(xué)。

The alcohol-free accommodation has been introduced to cater for students with religious beliefs or medical conditions that do not allow drinking.

推出“無酒精”宿舍是為了滿足那些由于宗教原因或健康原因不能飲酒的學(xué)生的需求。

It will be offered from September, 2015. The flats each hold between four to six people.

“無酒精”公寓將從今年9月開始提供。每套公寓里能容納四到六人。

Pat Mathewson, St Andrews Students' Association, said: "Our residential services have decided they will offer a small section and then see what the uptake is like. We're always in favor of anything that will make our students more comfortable. "

圣安德魯斯大學(xué)學(xué)生會的帕特·馬修森表示，他們的住宿服務(wù)準備先提供一小部分這類宿舍，看需求如何。學(xué)生會歡迎任何可以使學(xué)生感到更舒適的措施。
