When you have the best player in the world, you don't need to be creative because you'resimply just better. However, the issue for Irving is that this was not the best use of his ability.

Being either a spacer or isolation player didn't necessarily give him a fair opportunity really runhis own offense. The “best” 5-man lineup for Irving that didn't include James was Jefferson, Shumpert, Love, and Thompson.
