The late Princess of Wales' iconic pink blouse worn in her 1992 engagement portrait with then-Prince Charles will be available to purchase as part of Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies' Hollywood Legends auction, where it's expected to bring in between $80,000 and $100,000, according to a Julien's release.

The piece, worn in the portrait by Lord Snowden, is described as a "pink crepe blouse with ruff-like collar and loose pleats" and was designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel — who were later behind her wedding gown.

According to Julien’s Auctions, Diana picked the blouse from a rack of clothing presented to her by former Vogue fashion editor Anna Harvey.

In her book A Dress for Diana, Elizabeth Emanuel wrote that a client left a mascara stain on a custom-made gown, prompting the Emanuels to use the materials for the blouse. "When she saw our blouse on the rack she fell in love with it, asked who had made it and was directed to us," she wrote, per the auction company.

Emanuel sold the piece, which was seen in the February 1981 issue of Vogue, from her archive in 2010, and it previously appeared on display at Kensington Palace for an exhibition from 2017 to 2019.

The auction will take place from Dec. 14 to Dec. 17 both in Beverly Hills and on the auction website, with the fourth day being called "Glamour, Grace and Greatness." The auction company describes it as "a collection of some of the most head turning and star making pieces of the greatest style icons of all time, created by some of the most acclaimed and revered designers in fashion and Hollywood history."

Also up for grabs next month during the auction is an evening dress worn by Diana and designed by Jacques Azagury, which is estimated to bring in between $100,000 and $200,000. The piece was worn by Diana in Florence, Italy in 1985.
