如何對(duì)付說(shuō)話不算話的老板？

工作通常并不是一件討人喜歡的事。

But if the salary is good, we might as well put up with it.

不過(guò)如果這份工作給的薪水不錯(cuò)，我們通常也不介意忍一忍。

However, if you unfortunately have a very difficult boss, then it is another story.

但如果你碰上的老板很差勁，那可能就不太好忍了。

Sometimes, you do come across that kind of boss who keeps giving verbal consent , but never taking the commitment seriously.

有時(shí)候，你真的就能碰上這種老板，他們嘴上說(shuō)“好好好”，心理卻不把自己的承諾當(dāng)回事。

You may have already met this kind of boss. At first they agreed to let you push forward a new project, then somehow they changed their minds and acted as if they had never agreed to it.

你可能已經(jīng)碰到過(guò)這種老板了，他們本來(lái)同意你去推進(jìn)一個(gè)新項(xiàng)目，但后來(lái)不知道怎么又改變主意了，而且還表現(xiàn)得好像自己從未同意過(guò)。

Or, your boss may never fulfill what he has promised you and stop mentioning it at all.

又或者，你的老板本來(lái)向你們承諾過(guò)什么，但之后卻一直沒(méi)有兌現(xiàn)，而且也絕口不提這個(gè)事。

The results can be imagined, your previous efforts may go to waste, and your expectationsmay be failed.

其結(jié)果可想而知，你之前的努力可能完全泡湯，你之前的期待可能化為泡影。

This kind of boss might be forgetful, or there could be a problem with his character.

這種老板可能是比較健忘，也可能真的是人品有問(wèn)題。

At each important point, confirm with them the agreed things, keep them updated on the progress, then confirm the direction again, and wait for them to give a new promise before you continue.

在每個(gè)重要的節(jié)點(diǎn)去跟他們重提之前確認(rèn)好的事，告訴他們事情現(xiàn)在的進(jìn)展，然后再一次確認(rèn)之后的發(fā)展方向，等他們給出了新的承諾你再繼續(xù)做。

Moreover, it is best not to talk with your boss in private, but let some other colleagues participate in the conversation.

而且，最好不要私下談，而是讓一些其他的同事也參與到這個(gè)交流中來(lái)。

For example, if you communicate in emails, you may copy it to all the people involved.

比如，如果你們的交流方式是發(fā)郵件，你可以選擇抄送所有和這件事相關(guān)的人。

If it is a verbal communication, then you may choose somewhere someone else is present to have the conversation.
