無理的“全職媽媽歧視”

為了更好地照顧小孩，不少女性選擇辭去工作在家里當(dāng)全職媽媽。在一些人看來，全職媽媽待在家里，不用每天奔波去上班，似乎很閑適的樣子;甚至還有一些人對全職媽媽抱有歧視心理，覺得她們沒有追求，不上進(jìn)。這種歧視態(tài)度就叫motherism。

Motherism is a growing prejudice against stay-at-home mums which suggests that full-time mothers are unintelligent, unattractive and just plain lazy because they're not in formal employment. This entrenched lack of respect can mean that relative to their professional counterparts, full-time mums are held in lower esteem and regarded as less interesting individuals who've taken a downwards step both socially and intellectually because they've elected to stay at home.
