四、否定轉移

1.從句的否定轉移到主句，即形式是否定主句，意義是否定從句

I don’t think I know you.我想我并不認識你。

2.“否定轉移”句式中主語只限于第一人稱

I don’ t believe he will come.我相信他不會來。

We don’t expect that you would stay on here.我們希望你不要在這兒呆下去。

【辨析】我認為他不稱職。

【正】I don’t think that he is fit for the job.（“否定轉移”用于第一人稱）

【誤】He doesn’t think that he is fit for the job.（第三人稱不用“否定轉移”）

【正】He thinks that he isn’t fit for the job.（第三人稱否定從句）

3.“否定轉移”句式中主句的謂語是一般現(xiàn)在時

I don’t expect they have finished the work.我料想他們還沒有完成工作。

I don’t suppose he will return to his hometown after a few years of studying abroad.

我看他在國外學習幾年后不會回家鄉(xiāng)了。

I don’t imagine the meeting will take more than an hour.我想會議不會超過一小時。

【辨析】我認為你并沒抓住要點。

【正】I thought you hadn’t caught the point.（過去時態(tài)否定從句）

【誤】I didn’t think you had caught the point.（過去時態(tài)不用“否定轉移”）

【正】I don’t think you have caught the point.（“否定轉移”用于一般現(xiàn)在時）

4.“否定轉移”句式中常用動詞是believe，expect，guess，imagine，suppose，think等

I don’t expect that it is true.我希望那不是真的。

I don’t guess that they have got married.我猜他們還沒有結婚。

I don’t suppose it’s the rush hour yet.我想現(xiàn)在還不是交通擁擠的時刻。

【提示】 主句謂語動詞是hope，不用“否定轉移”句式。

I hope you weren’t ill.我想你沒有生病吧。

I hope that I’m not disturbing you too much.但愿我沒太打擾你。

5.“否定轉移”句式中的反義疑問句形式

I don’t think you’ve met Xiao Xin，have you？ 我想你沒遇見小新，對嗎？

I don’t think it is unnecessary discussing this，isn’t it？

我認為有必要討論這件事，不是嗎？
