一、基數(shù)詞

1.基數(shù)詞的形式

（1）數(shù)詞1—10

（2）數(shù)詞11—20

（3）數(shù)詞21—30

（4）整數(shù)數(shù)詞10—90

（5）百，千，萬

【提示】 單詞拼寫：4 four，14 fourteen，40 forty。

2.基數(shù)詞的表達(dá)

（1）21—99在十位數(shù)和個(gè)位數(shù)之間加連字符構(gòu)成。

21 twenty-one，36 thirty-six，45 forty-five，

73 seventy-three，88 eighty-eight，99 ninety-nine

（2）101—999先說“幾百”，后接and，再加末尾兩位數(shù)（或末位數(shù)）。

101 one hundred and one，

530 five hundred and thirty，

（3）1000以上的基數(shù)詞先從右至左數(shù)，每三位數(shù)加一個(gè)逗號(hào)。

9，800 nine thousand，eight hundred

60，200，000 sixty million，two hundred thousand

（4）hundred，thousand，million，billion等詞和具體數(shù)字連用時(shí)用單數(shù)形式。

1，600 one thousand and six hundred

6，100 six thousand and one hundred

（5）數(shù)詞的泛指

tens of 數(shù)十　　　　　　　　　　　　　　hundreds of 數(shù)百

tens of hundreds of 數(shù)千　　　　　　　　a few hundreds of 上百

hundreds of hundreds of 成百成百的　　　thousands of 數(shù)千

3.基數(shù)詞的用法

（1）基數(shù)詞單數(shù)表示確指。

Two hundred of the students are needed to plant trees this morning.

今天上午需要200個(gè)學(xué)生去植樹。

（2）基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)表示泛指。

Hundreds of people attended the famous director’s farewell concert.

好幾百人出席了這位著名指揮家的告別音樂會(huì)。

Thousands of thousands of English words come from foreign tongues.

幾百萬英語(yǔ)單詞來自外來語(yǔ)。

（3）基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)表示年代。

in the twenties 在20年代　　　　　　in the thirties 在30年代

in the forties 在40年代　　　　　 　in the fifties 在50年代

in the 1960s 在20世紀(jì)60年代　　　 　in the 1970s 在20世紀(jì)70年代

in the 1980s 在20世紀(jì)80年代　　　 　in the 1990s 在20世紀(jì)90年代

The family moved to France in the 1950s.這家人20世紀(jì)50年代搬到了法國(guó)。

The war broke out in the nineties.這次戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)爆發(fā)于90年代。

（4）基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)表示大約年歲。

in one’s teens 在某人十幾歲時(shí)　　　　in one’s twenties 在某人二十幾歲時(shí)

in one’s thirties 在某人三十幾歲時(shí)　 in one’s eighties 在某人八十幾歲時(shí)

He went to the United States in his forties.他四十多歲時(shí)去了美國(guó)。

Karl Marx began to learn the Russian language in his fifties.馬克思五十多歲開始學(xué)俄語(yǔ)。

4.基數(shù)詞固定短語(yǔ)

a day or two/one or two days 一兩天　　at sixes and sevens 亂七八糟

another two weeks/two other weeks/two more weeks 另外兩周

every two days/every second day/every other day 每隔一天

in one 合為一體　　　　　　　　　　　　in twos兩個(gè)兩個(gè)地
