 Realize How to Improve your Emotional Mental Health 如何保持心理健康

     1 保持心理健康的方法
     Mental health can be seen as a continuum, where an individual's mental health may have many different possible values. Mental wellness is generally viewed as a positive attribute, such that a person can reach enhanced levels of mental health, even if they do not have any diagnosable mental health condition.
     Being mentally and emotionally healthy does not exclude the experiences of life which we cannot control. As humans we are going to face emotions and events that are a part of life. According to Smith and Segal, "People who are emotionally and mentally healthy have the tools for coping with difficult situations and maintaining a positive outlook in which also remain focused, flexible, and creative in bad times as well as good".

They remain focused, flexible, and creative in bad times as well as good. In order to improve your emotional mental health the root of the issue has to be resolved. "Prevention emphasizes the avoidance of risk factors; promotion aims to enhance an individual's ability to achieve a positive sense of self-esteem, mastery, well-being, and social inclusion". It is very important to improve your emotional mental health by surrounding yourself with positive relationships. We as humans, feed off companionships and interaction with other people. Another way to improve your emotional mental health is participating in activities that can allow you to relax and take time for yourself. Yoga is a great example of its meditating aspect which calms your entire body and nerves. According to a study on well-being Richards, Campania and Muse-Burke found, "mindfulness is considered to be a purposeful state, it may be that those who practice it believe in its importance and value being mindful, so that valuing of self-care activities may influence the intentional component of mindfulness"

     A mental disorder or mental illness is a psychological or behavioral pattern generally associated with subjective distress or disability that occurs in an individual, and which is not a part of normal development or culture.

     我們必須看到,心理疾病是很普遍的,只不過存在著程度區(qū)別而已。而且現(xiàn)代文明的發(fā)展使人類愈發(fā)脫離其自然屬性,污染、生活快節(jié)奏、緊張、信息量空前巨大、社會關(guān)系復(fù)雜、作息方式變化、消費取向差異、在公平的理念下不公平的事實拉大、溺愛等,都使心理疾病逐漸增多并惡化。心理疾病種類很多,表現(xiàn)各異,而且有可能出現(xiàn)更多的以前都沒有注意到,或已經(jīng)合理化(不認為是心理疾?。?。隨著時代的變化,新發(fā)現(xiàn)的心理疾病也不少。

     More than just a bout of the blues or temporary feelings of grief low energy, depression can have a significant impact on your enjoyme of life, your work, your health, and the people you care about.

     Depression affects people differently.

     George: You must be too anxious about the result. You are worrying about the possible result, right?

     Tom: Yes, kind of. I really hope I won't fail.

     George: Just take easy. What you should focus is the process, not the result. If you have prepared very well, the result won't be too bad.

     Tom: I hope so. But I can't control my state of mind.
