熟練運(yùn)用英語交流 詞匯最關(guān)鍵

要想熟練進(jìn)行英語口語交流，詞匯(包括詞組和短語)最關(guān)鍵。用英語口語交流，一方面是要能聽懂對方說的，另一方面是自己說的對方要能聽懂。在這兩個方面，詞匯都是基礎(chǔ)。

先說聽力。在練習(xí)聽力的時候常有這種感覺：一個單詞沒聽說過或雖知道但一時反應(yīng)不過來，就會導(dǎo)致整個句子聽不懂。幾個關(guān)鍵句子聽不懂，那么整篇文章說什么就搞不明白。所以，詞匯量不足的話，聽力就一定不行。而且對詞匯的敏感程度和反應(yīng)速度，也直接影響您的聽力水平。扎扎實實地背一段時間單詞您就會驚喜地發(fā)現(xiàn)，您的聽力竟然沒怎么訓(xùn)練就在無形中提高了一大截。

再說口語。中國人說英語的最大障礙,并不是發(fā)音，而是不會表達(dá)——根本不知道怎么去說，不知道用什么詞，怎么用詞。比如，想說“我喜歡吃辣椒”，可是“辣椒”的英文單詞是什么?不知道。那就說“我喜歡吃一種辣的蔬菜吧。”可是“辣”怎么說?還是不知道，這就沒法辦了。詞匯量的匱乏，是英語口語達(dá)到與人交流水平的最大障礙。真正與人交流的口語，絕不是購物，機(jī)場，郵局，問路這些生活常用語。這些生活常用語就算練得再熟，發(fā)音再準(zhǔn)，也沒法和老外談工作，或是聊天。要想和老外談工作或是侃大山，必須掌握大量的專業(yè)詞匯，以及涉及社會生活方方面面的詞匯。所以，詞匯量也是口語的基礎(chǔ)。

要注意的是，這里所說的詞匯，不僅指單詞，還包括詞組，短語。詞組和短語在口語中十分重要。有時我們能聽出整個句子的每個單詞，但還是不明白句子的意思，就是因為不認(rèn)得句子中出現(xiàn)的短語。口語中的許多意思表達(dá)，都是用短語來完成的，如果用同樣意思的單詞來說，則顯得非常生硬。
