Well, too bad, because this Instagram user Chase from the United States has gathered these hilariously adorable photos of animals without necks. These pictures are bound to raise your spirits and make your day at least a little better.

The longer you look at the pics, the funnier and more ridiculous they look. Some animals even seem more adorable than before. Chase told Bored Panda what inspired him to create this project: "On New Year’s Eve in 2013, I was bored and then this just happened. I’d come across edits of animals without necks before and found them way too funny."
