全球首款可折疊柔性屏手機正式發(fā)布

Royole Corp, a manufacturer of flexible displays andsmart devices, unveiled the world's first foldablephone last Wednesday, which can be bent and rolledto function both as a smartphone and tablet.

上周三，柔性顯示器及智能設(shè)備生產(chǎn)商深圳柔宇集團發(fā)布了全球首款可折疊手機，該設(shè)備能彎折、卷曲，可同時實現(xiàn)智能手機和平板電腦的功能。

The product, known as the FlexPai, is equipped withthe Shenzhen-based company's latest flexibledisplay technology.

這款名為柔派的產(chǎn)品采用了柔宇最新的柔性顯示器技術(shù)。

The 7.8-inch high-resolution screen is 7.6 millimeters thick and can be bent over 200,000 times.

其高分辨率屏幕大小為7.8英寸，厚度7.6毫米，可彎折20萬次以上。

 

 

Bill Liu, founder of Royole, said that the FlexPai, priced from 8,999 yuan, is designed so consumers need not buy smartphones and tablets at the same time.

柔宇創(chuàng)始人劉自鴻稱，柔派起售價8999元，設(shè)計這款產(chǎn)品是為使消費者無需同時購買智能手機和平板電腦。

Liu said he hopes the company's ultra-thin, transparent and flexible electronics will help reshape the future of smart home, automotive, consumer electronics and wearable products.

劉自鴻表示，希望公司這款超薄、透明的柔性電子設(shè)備將有助于改變智能家居、汽車、消費類電子產(chǎn)品和可穿戴產(chǎn)品的未來。

To achieve that objective, Royole also said that it will invest 200 million yuan to encourage startups to create more content including games for the company's new device.

為了實現(xiàn)這一目標(biāo)，柔宇公司還表示將投資2億元，來鼓勵初創(chuàng)公司為新設(shè)備創(chuàng)造包括游戲在內(nèi)的更多內(nèi)容。

Royole attracted global attention in 2014 when it released the world's thinnest full-color AMOLED flexible display screen, which can be bent or rolled.

2014年，柔宇公司推出了可以彎折卷曲的、世界上最薄的全彩色AMOLED柔性顯示屏，引起了全球關(guān)注。
