改錯:大學英語改錯練習1

本期重點：詞性

　　詞性重點考查的就是詞性的混淆，主要是名詞與動詞的誤用、名詞與形容詞的誤用以及形容詞與副詞的誤用。做這類改錯題，首先要判斷詞性及詞在句中的位置，然后根據它們在句中所處的位置來確定詞性是否正確。一般說來，形容詞修飾名詞，副詞修飾動詞，副詞修飾形容詞。例如說到某個問題的嚴重性，會用increasingly serious(越來越嚴重)，用副詞修飾形容詞，不能說increasing serious。

 

考點例析：

 

例1：Most experts believe this can continue even if the population

doubles by the mid-21st century,although feeding I0 billion people

will not be easy for politics, economic and environmental reasons S6.___

 

　　解析：reasons有三個修飾詞politics, economic， environmental , 后兩個是形容詞，第一個也應該是一致的，所以把politics改稱political。

 

例2：Culture is essentially to our humanness. It provides a kind of S8.______

map for relating to others.

 

解析：做表語時，應該使用形容詞而不是副詞，故將essentially -> essential。

例3：Their experiments have shown that reading disorders are most

likely the result of what is, in effect, faulty wiring in the brain—

not lazy, stupidity or a poor home environment S4._____

 

　　解析：lazy, stupidity ，a poor home environment 是三個并列的詞，在詞性上應該保持一致，所以將lazy改成laziness。

Language learning begins with listening. Individual children vary
