　　清明節(jié)(the Tomb-Sweeping Festival)時，人們會去自家祖先的墳?zāi)够蛟岬貟吣?。傳統(tǒng)上，人們?nèi)r會帶一整只公雞。但隨著時間的推移，掃墓現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)不再那么正式。 清明節(jié)有多種不同的習(xí)俗,其中最主要的是掃墓和春游(spring outing)。這一天不僅是人們紀(jì)念亡人的節(jié)日，也是休閑娛樂的日子。春游不只增添生活樂趣，還可以鼓勵人 們擁有健康的身體和思想。這個節(jié)日真可謂是悲傷和幸福的組合體。

　　On the Tomb-Sweeping Festival, people go to sweep the graves or burial grounds of their ancestors. Traditionally, they took a rooster with them to the graves.However, as the time goes by, the event has been less formal now. There are many different customs on the Tomb-sweeping Festival, among which the main ones are tomb sweeping and spring outing. It is a day not only for people to commemorate the dead, but also to enjoy leisure and entertainment time. Spring outings not simply increase enjoyinent of life, but encourage people to have a healthy body and mind.The festival is really a combination of sadness and happiness.
