這首歌的主唱Joel Hanson和擔任和聲的Sara Groves都是鄉(xiāng)村歌手。Joel Hanson可以說是一位多產(chǎn)的原創(chuàng)歌手，先后曾與音樂界的Geoff Moore和Phil Keaggy等多位藝人合作過。他曾經(jīng)是榮獲過格萊美獎和基督搖滾音樂和平鴿獎（Dove Award）的美國福音樂隊（PFR）的成員主唱和吉他手。在1997年P(guān)FR解體之后，他走上了單飛的音樂道路，但2000年P(guān)FR又重新組合起來，并先后推出了《Captured》和《Broken》兩張專輯，但是成績并不理想，直到他與Sara Groves合作的一首單曲“Traveling Light”推出之后，才取得了轟動效果。“Traveling Light”恰如其分地反映了Joel Hanson在之前遇到的困境和后來的釋懷與解脫。這首歌曲是很輕松的音樂，思緒在飄渺的旋律中盡情地放縱，往事在悠悠的曲子里隱現(xiàn)，動聽的旋律勾起的總是最美好的回憶。就像在夕陽下，迎著柔和的陽光，卸下身上重重的行囊，奔向遠方……值得回味！
