A: I have some good news for you. We've decided we'd like to send you to Shanghai on a business trip this weekend.
 
我有好消息要告訴你. 我們決定這周末派你去上海出差.
 
B: oh.
 
哦.
 
A:  don't you thinl that it'd be a good thing for you to get out of the office foe a couple of days?
 
你不覺(jué)的有好幾天不待在辦公室對(duì)你來(lái)說(shuō)是件很好的事嗎?
 
B:  sure.
 
當(dāng)然是好事.
 
A:  I thought you'd be a bit more excited about this. Everything will be paid for and I'll send my assistant with you to take care of everything for you. All you have to do it get on the train tonight at 7 pm.
 
我覺(jué)得你對(duì)這件事的興致應(yīng)該再高一點(diǎn)才對(duì).一切費(fèi)用都有公家出,而且我還會(huì)派我的助理陪你一起去,幫你打理所有雜事.你唯一要做的事情就是今晚7點(diǎn)上火車(chē).
 
B:  the train? Will be be flying back then?
 
火車(chē)?那我辦完事會(huì)坐飛機(jī)回來(lái)嗎?
 
A:  oh, no. We've brought your return ticket for you. I think you'll find it comfortable.
 
哦,不.我們給你買(mǎi)到是往返的火車(chē)票.我相信你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)坐火車(chē)也挺舒服的.
 
B:  will the train be very crowded?
 
坐火車(chē)會(huì)很擠吧?
 
A:  oh no. the train hasn't been crowded at all recently. Besides, you're in first-class, so you'll be fine.
 
不會(huì).最近坐火車(chē)的人一點(diǎn)都不多.而且你還是坐頭等艙,所以放心好了.
 
B:  when is the first meeting then?
 
第一天的會(huì)什么時(shí)候開(kāi)?
 
A:  they've scheduled the negotiation meeting for 9:00 tomorrow morning. That should give you enough time to have a quick shower.
 
他們安排的商務(wù)談判是明天上午9點(diǎn).你還有充足的時(shí)間洗個(gè)澡.
 
B:  where will I be staying?
 
我到那兒住在哪里?
 
A:  we've booked you a room in the same hotel as your meetings, so you won't need to deal much with the transportation system.
 
我們給你訂的房間就在要開(kāi)會(huì)的那個(gè)酒店,所以你不用考慮路上的交通問(wèn)題.
 
B:  that's very sensible. Would it be alright if I left early today to prepare for the trip?
 
實(shí)在是太周到了.我今天能早點(diǎn)下班回去準(zhǔn)備行李嗎?
 
A:  that's not a problem. Have a nap if you can. You don't know how tight the schedule is for this business trip.
 
這沒(méi)問(wèn)題.如果可能的話(huà),還可以小睡一會(huì).你可不知道這次出差行程安排得有多滿(mǎn).
