A: So Maria, I thought we'd just talk about things like what would you like to change about yourself? What would you like to change about your appearance?
 
瑪麗亞，我們來看看你想改變自己嗎？你想改變自己的外表嗎？
 
B: Well, I don't like to think about changing myself. I like how people look from the birth, if you can say that, but if I should choose I would like to change my height because I'm very tall and it does cause a problem when I'm looking for a guy especially since in the past I happen to fall for shorter guys and I got issues because they were always being intimidated by my height especially when I wore heels so I would like to be, like have my body because I do like my long legs but just be shorter and not be taller than everybody as I am at the moment, all of my friends.
 
我不想改變我自己。我喜歡人們天生的樣子，但是如果可以選擇，我希望能改變我的身高，因為我實在太高了，這在找男朋友時給我?guī)砹藛栴}，我以前喜歡過個子比我矮的男生，可是我穿高跟鞋的時候總是會把他們嚇到，我很喜歡我的身材，我也確實喜歡我的大長腿，可是我想矮一點，身高不要超過我周圍的朋友。
 
A: I guess that would also lead to you having problems finding shoes and clothes and stuff like that?
 
我想你在買鞋和買衣服時也遇到了問題吧？
 
B: Indeed, yes. I have to watch out. Well in my country it's not a problem to find shoe sizes because we are a very tall people normally so shoes are big and clothes are big but when I travel, I went to China to visit a friend and I wanted to go shopping and it's impossible to find shoes and long pants and fitting bras too, if you can imagine. So I would like to change my height but otherwise I might change like my weight for example or I have changed my hair color several times. I went from black to blonde to black to red to blonde so otherwise I think I'm fine with me.
 
沒錯。這是我要注意的地方。在我們國家買鞋并不是問題，因為我們那里的人都很高，所以鞋碼很大，衣服尺寸也很大，可是我旅行時就不同了，我之前去中國拜訪一個朋友，我想去購物，可是我發(fā)現(xiàn)很難找到我能穿的鞋，也沒有合適的長褲和內(nèi)衣，你能想象嗎？所以我想改變我的身高，除此之外我可能會改變我的體重，另外我頭發(fā)的顏色已經(jīng)換過好幾次了。我從黑色染成金色，又換回黑色，然后又染成紅色，再染成金色，除此之外，我對自己很滿意。
