——Background(背景)：Anne作為Richard的女伴來到了他姐姐Julie的生日晚宴。

Julie: “Guess what? Richard is bringing a girl.”

(你猜怎么著?理查德會帶一個女孩來。)

Miles: “Miracles do happen. Does the girl have a name?”

(奇跡真的會發(fā)生。這個女孩叫什么名字?)

Julie: “Don’t know. Wouldn’t say.”

(我不知道，他沒告訴我)

They hear a strange sound coming from the kitchen.

(他們聽見一個奇怪的聲音從廚房傳來)

Julie: “Oh, goodness, Miles! What is going on in the kitchen?”

Miles: “Oh, God!”

Richard: “Hi. Come on in. A little food crisis. The guinea-fowl is proving more complicated than expected.”

Miles: “He’s cooking guinea-fowl?”

Julie: “Don’t even ask.”

Anne: “Hello.”

Richard: “Julie, this is Anne.”

Julie: “Right, crisis over.”

(好，危機解決了)

Richard: “Miles, this is Anne.”

(Miles，這位是安妮)

Miles: “Hello, Anne, some wine?”

Anne: “Yes please, oh yes, happy birthday Julie.”

Later on, in the kitchen…

Julie: “Anne is the spitting image of his ex… don’t you think?”

Miles: “A little bit, I guess Richard has his type…”
