　　Viola是個瘋狂的足球迷。她所在的Cornwell學(xué)校女足隊因為報名人數(shù)不夠而被學(xué)校強行解散，愛球心切的Viola申請加入男子足球隊，卻遭到了有性別歧視的教練的拒絕。正在這時，雙胞胎弟弟Sebastian離家出走，于是Viola靈機一動，喬裝成身材相貌都和自己相似的弟弟，成功混入了弟弟新學(xué)校的足球隊！

　　影片改編自1980年鹽湖城冬奧會上發(fā)生的真實事件。本片的主人公Herb年輕時是美國國家冰球隊的一員，曾代表美國出戰(zhàn)1964年冬奧會，但其球隊當(dāng)年是沒能贏得冠軍，這成為Herb最大的遺憾。為了一償夙愿，他決定以教練的身份，率領(lǐng)一批新人出戰(zhàn)1980年的鹽湖城冬奧會。

Well, it was here: The sight of 20 young men of such different backgrounds now standing as one; Young men willing to sacrifice so much of themselves all for an unknown. A few years later, the U.S. began using professional athletes at the games: Dream Teams. I always found that term ironic because now that we have dream teams, we seldom ever get to dream.
