中級美國英語ask、remind和hope賓語從句
一.本課要點及示例
我們先學習怎么用 ask, a-s-k, ask 來表達 "請求某個人作某件事", 然后我們要用動詞 remind, r-e-m-i-n-d, remind "提醒" 和 hope, h-o-p-e, hope "希望" 作一些包含了賓語從句的句子, 最后我們要學習怎么應用 "立刻" right away, r-i-g-h-t a-w-a-y, right away.
現(xiàn)在我們來聽這一課的對話, 內容是說亨利和凱特為了準備去野餐忙碌的情況. 請你注意聽兩位英文老師的發(fā)音和語調.
M: Did you listen to the weather report this morning?
F: Yes, I did. It will be cloudy in the afternoon. I hope that it won't rain.
M: Have you made the sandwiches yet?
F: No, I haven't. I'll start right away. Did you get the soft drinks?
M: Yes, I did. They are in the refrigerator.
F: Would you put plastic knives and forks in the picnic basket? And don't forget the paper plates and napkins.

二.ASK
首先我們學習怎么用 ask, a-s-k, ask 來表達 "請求".下面老師給你念幾個句子說明凱特為了野餐會請亨利幫了什么忙,比方: Kate asked Henry to get the picnic basket ready. "凱特請亨利把野餐籃子準備好" 等等. 每個句子老師念兩遍.
M: Kate asked Henry to help.

下面我們來作一組代換練習, 學習怎么說 "請求別人不要作什么事",比方凱特請南希不要預備吃的, 不要作甜點, 不要為了野餐而忙碌等等. 練習的作法是由老師念一個陳述句, 然后老師給你念一個詞組,請你把這個詞組代換到原來的句子里. 每作完一句還是請你聽正確答案.

三.REMIND
除了動詞ask以外, "提醒" remind, r-e-m-i-n-d, remind也可以跟我們剛才學的句型配合.比方 "亨利提醒凱特聽天氣報告" 這句話在英文里可以這樣說: Henry reminds Kate to listen to the weather report. 我們也可以把句子改成 "亨利提醒凱特說她應該聽天氣報告." 那么英文就應該這樣說: Henry reminds Kate that she should listen to the weather report. 第二種說法就是用上了我們上一課學過的以連詞 that 引導的賓語從句.現(xiàn)在我們來作一組練習比較這兩種說法. 比方老師問你: Did Henry remind Kate to listen to the weather report? 你就用賓語從句肯定地回答說: Yes, he reminded her that she should listen to the wether report. 現(xiàn)在我們開始作練習:

四.HOPE+賓語從句
現(xiàn)在我們再來學習賓語從句. 下面一組練習是把 "希望" hope, h-o-p-e, hope跟賓語從句配合起來. 比方 "我希望三明治好吃",英文可以這樣說: I hope that the sandwiches are good.現(xiàn)在我們以代換練習的方式學學這類句子.首先老師念一個陳述句, 然后老師念一個賓語從句,學生就把這個賓語從句代換到原來的句子里. 這些句子的內容都是說凱特有什么愿望, 比方她希望野餐的時候帶的東西夠大家吃,公園里不會太擠, 那兒有野餐用的桌子, 長凳子等等. 請你在學生作練習的時候也一起作.

下面一組練習是由凱特說一句話, 比方: "天色陰暗" The weather is cloudy, 然后老師念一個賓語從句, 比方: "快點晴朗起來" It will clear up soon, 請你用hope跟賓語從句把凱特的愿望說出來.每作完一句就請你聽凱特念正確答案.

五.RIGHT AWAY
下面我們來學習怎么用 right away, r-i-g-h-t a-w-a-y, right away. 這個詞組可以用來表示 "馬上" 或是 "立刻". 比方凱特在去野餐之前提醒亨利說: "你把野餐籃子拿到外面車上去了嗎? "Have you taken the picnic basket out to the car yet?亨利回答說: "沒有,我立刻拿出去." No, I haven't. I'll take it out right away.下面我們用這種方式作練習, 練習的內容都是說到預備去野餐的事情,請你注意聽亨利問問題, 然后請你用 right away 回答, 每作完一句就請你聽凱特念出正確答案.

首先我們還是聽一段文章內容是說亨利和凱特一家人約了南希和她的丈夫一起去野餐, 兩家人到附近一個公園, 那兒有一條小河, 大家坐在樹蔭底下吃飯,聊天兒的情況.請你注意聽, 等一會兒老師會根據這段文章來問你幾個問題.
Henry's family had a picnic over the weekend. They asked their friends, Nancy and her husband, to go with them. On Sunday morning, Henry's wife, Kate, got up early to prepare sandwiches for the picnic.She asked Henry to get some soft drinks. Henry told her that they were in the refrigerator.
