甲：你見過湯姆嗎？
A: Did you ever meet Tom?

乙：沒見過。不過沒關系，你能為我介紹一下嗎？
B: No, but I wouldn’t mind. Can you introduce him to me?

甲：當然可以，你和我一起來。湯姆，這是約翰，我的好友。約翰，這位是湯姆。
A: Sure. Why don’t you come with me? Tom, this is John, one of my best friends. John, this is Tom.

丙：很高興看到你，約翰。我聽過很多有關你的事。
C: It’s nice to meet you, John. I’ve heard a lot about you.

乙：喔！我希望都是講好的！不管怎么說，很高興終于有機會見到你。
B: All good, I hope. Anyway, I’m glad to finally have a chance to meet you.

C: Me too. Where are you from?

C: I’m from Denver, Colorado.
