The Role of Migrant Workers
As is known to all, migrant workers have made great contributions to the prosperity of cities. They are an indispensable part of our workforce. There is no doubt that many construction projects would be lack of manpower without them. In addition, a large number of migrant workers stimulate the consumption of food and daily items. All these are positive aspects of migrant workers in cities.
However, as a popular saying goes, "Everything has two sides". The same is the case with migrant workers. First, they have trouble getting their children into child care centers and schools because they are unregistered residents in the city. Second, most of the migrant workers swarm into big cities just to make money. Being not well-educated and incompetent, they are a potential threat to the peace and stability of the society.
In my opinion, in the appraisal of migrant workers, it is one-sided to affirm everything or to negate everything. We should appreciate the great contribution made by them, and at the same time pay enough attention to the problems caused by them. (178 words)
結(jié)構(gòu)剖析
文章分為三段
第一段首句引出話題，指出農(nóng)民工為城市的繁榮做出了很大的貢獻(xiàn)，接著用there is no doubt that ...和in addition指出兩個(gè)方面的貢獻(xiàn)。
第二段用however轉(zhuǎn)折，并引用諺語來論證農(nóng)民工涌入城市所帶來的問題，接著用first和second分兩個(gè)方面來具體論證問題。
第三段用in my opinion引出作者的觀點(diǎn)，最后用we should...指出對(duì)待這個(gè)問題的正確的態(tài)度。
農(nóng)民工的作用
眾所周知，農(nóng)民工對(duì)城市的繁榮做出了巨大的貢獻(xiàn)，他們是勞動(dòng)大軍中不可或缺的一部分。毫無疑問，如果沒有他們，許多建設(shè)項(xiàng)目都將缺少勞動(dòng)力。此外，大批的農(nóng)民工也刺激了食品和日常用品的消費(fèi)。這些都是城市中的農(nóng)民工積極的方面。
然而，常言道：凡事總有兩面。農(nóng)民工問題亦如此。首先，他們很難將子女送到托兒所或?qū)W校，因?yàn)樗麄儧]有城市戶口。其次，大部分的農(nóng)民工涌入大都市僅僅是為了掙錢。他們受教育水平低，能力欠缺，對(duì)社會(huì)的和平與穩(wěn)定是一個(gè)潛在的威脅。
我認(rèn)為在評(píng)價(jià)農(nóng)民工時(shí)，全盤肯定或全盤否定都是片面的。我們應(yīng)感激他們所做出的巨大貢獻(xiàn)，與此同時(shí)，也應(yīng)對(duì)他們所引起的問題給予足夠的重視。
