Robert Burns

彭斯（Robert Burns，1759-1796），蘇格蘭最偉大的詩人，19世紀英國浪漫主義詩歌的先驅(qū)。他生于蘇格蘭農(nóng)民家庭，詩歌來自真實的農(nóng)民生活，一掃陳腐刻板的雕琢痕跡和文人氣息，抒寫了普通人的內(nèi)心感受，被當時的人們譽為“自然的天才”。他的很多詩都用蘇格蘭民歌體寫成，語言自然質(zhì)樸，生動活潑，優(yōu)美而輕松，有很強的節(jié)奏感，許多都可以配上樂曲而傳唱?！兑欢浼t紅的玫瑰》，《我的心在高原》等作品對蘇格蘭方言和民歌形式運用自如，充分發(fā)揚了蘇格蘭民間文學的口語風格和音樂性。
