I've soon been plunged in the maze of cloudy peaks!
No trails are left in the ancient forest, no.
Still, where's this tolling from, that hither sneaks?
The gurgle of rills seems choked by by perilous rocks,
Above the pines the sun looks pale and cold.
It's dusk. There curls the pool, but where's the dragon?
By now it must have been in Dhyana's hold.
