唐備，男，[約公元九o一年在世]唐備的字、里、生卒年及生平事跡均不詳，約唐昭宗天復初在世。昭宗龍紀元年登進士第。工古詩，詩風古樸，多寓譏刺，時頗傳之。

狂風拔倒樹，樹倒根已露。
上有數(shù)枝藤，青青猶未悟。

A Roadside Tree
Tang Bei
The tree is uprooted by a gale:
The root is left open in the air.
A few creepers on it are green still:
Of their status they are not aware.
