竟寧元年，呼韓邪單于復(fù)入朝，自言愿婿漢氏以自親。元帝以后宮良家子王嬙字昭君賜單于而歸，號寧胡閼氏。此托昭君以致慨，深疾如毛延壽之顛倒妍媸、蔽賢欺君者。

馬上琵琶行萬里，漢宮長有隔生春。

Mao Yen-shou, your painter’s brush seems to move the gods.
How can you bear to turn your eyes from beauty for gold?
On horseback, the tune of the lute travels ten thousand li,

(1) According to one commentator, this refers to the legend that the grass at the grave of Wang Chao-chün stays green all year long.
