胡祗遹（1227—1295）字紹聞，號紫山。磁州武安（今屬河北?。┤恕Ｓ谑雷娉瘹v任戶部員外郎、右司員外郎、太原路治中、河?xùn)|山西道提刑按察副使、荊湖北道宣慰副使、濟(jì)寧路總管及山東、浙西提刑按察使等職，以精明干練著稱，所至頗具聲譽(yù)。

漁得魚心滿意足，

樵得樵眼笑眉舒。

一個(gè)罷了釣竿，

一個(gè)收了斤斧，

林泉下偶然相遇，

是兩個(gè)不識字的漁樵士大夫。

他兩個(gè)笑加加的談今論古。

Fisherman and Woodcutter

Hu Zhiyu

A fisherman is content with a basketful of fishes;

A woodcutter with a bundle of firewood he wishes.

One smiles on shouldering his fishing rod and line;

The other, with brows unknit, puts back his ax fine.

By chance they meet beside the fountain.

Though illiterate, they know much in the mountain.

Now and then they burst into laughter,

When they talk about the days before and after.
