范成大(1126-1193)，字致能，號(hào)稱石湖居士。漢族，平江吳縣（今江蘇蘇州）人。南宋詩(shī)人。謚文穆。從江西派入手，后學(xué)習(xí)中、晚唐詩(shī)，繼承了白居易、王建、張籍等詩(shī)人新樂(lè)府的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義精神，終于自成一家。風(fēng)格平易淺顯、清新嫵媚。詩(shī)題材廣泛，以反映農(nóng)村社會(huì)生活內(nèi)容的作品成就最高。他與楊萬(wàn)里、陸游、尤袤合稱南宋“中興四大詩(shī)人”。
