端淑卿（即端木淑卿），活動(dòng)于明世宗嘉靖（1522～1566）前后。當(dāng)涂（今屬安徽）人。曾祖父端宏（端木宏），字仲仁，號(hào)坦齋，曾任陜西按察司副使、山東按察使、浙江布政使等官職。

北雁南飛底事忙，聲傳朱戶淚沾裳。

愁將綠醑傍秋菊，忍對(duì)丹楓帶曉霜?！　?/p>

迭迭煙云迷去路，瀟瀟風(fēng)雨逐他鄉(xiāng)。

家山何處人千里，一片歸心空自傷。

Northern geese fly to the south for what do they hurry?

The sound carries to red mansions, tears wet my robe.

In sadness I take up the green wine by the autumn chrysanthemums,

And bear to face the red maple covered in evening frost.

Layered mist and layered clouds obscure the road I traveled;

Driving wind and driving rain pursued me to unfamiliar lands.

Where is home to one a thousand miles away?

My heart is set on returning home hopelessly I grieve.
