My boat is fully loaded with autumn hue,

滿(mǎn)載一船秋色，

The lake is paved for miles with shimmering view,

平鋪十里湖光。

The God of Waves at sunset retains me to see

波神留我看斜陽(yáng)，

The scalelike ripples he sets free.

放起鱗鱗細(xì)浪。

It’s better if the wind abates tomorrow.

明日風(fēng)回更好，

If not, I’ll sleep in open air without sorrow.

今宵露宿何妨？

In crystal palace is performed the rainbow dance.

水晶官里奏霓裳，

Be sure to Lakeside Tower we advance.
