去年夏天，我來(lái)到英國(guó)。現(xiàn)在我在英國(guó)已經(jīng)待了十一個(gè)月了。我將很快結(jié)束在英國(guó)的學(xué)習(xí)，下個(gè)月我就將回中國(guó)了。 一開(kāi)始，我覺(jué)得很難用英語(yǔ)和別人交流?，F(xiàn)在我英語(yǔ)說(shuō)得好多了，甚至可以看懂英語(yǔ)電視，這是因?yàn)槲覍W(xué)習(xí)很努力，老師和同學(xué)對(duì)我的幫助也很大?，F(xiàn)在我有許多英國(guó)朋友。一些朋友甚至邀請(qǐng)我去他們家吃飯。他們對(duì)中國(guó)和中國(guó)人很感興趣。每當(dāng)他們問(wèn)我許多問(wèn)題時(shí)，我才意識(shí)到自己對(duì)祖國(guó)的了解是如此之少。
24 Learning English in England
I came to England last summer. I have been in England for eleven months. I am going to finish my studies in England soon, and will leave for China next month.
At first it was very difficult for me to communicate with other people in English. Now I can speak English much better, and even understand English television, because I have studied hard and my teachers and classmates have helped me a lot.
I have lots of English friends now. Some of them have even invited me for dinner at their houses. They are interested to learn about China and Chinese people. Every time they ask me a lot of questions, I realize how little I know about my own country.
