中國第38次南極科學(xué)考察圓滿收官

China's research icebreaker Xuelong, or Snow Dragon, returned to Shanghai on Tuesday, marking the end of the country's 38th Antarctic expedition. Two icebreakers participated in the 174-day expedition, with the Xuelong 2 arriving in Shanghai six days ago. This is the second time that China has sent two icebreakers to the Antarctic since the 36th polar expedition.

4月26日，“雪龍”號(hào)極地科學(xué)考察船遠(yuǎn)航歸來抵達(dá)上海，這標(biāo)志著歷時(shí)174天的中國第38次南極科學(xué)考察圓滿收官。中國第38次南極科學(xué)考察由“雪龍”號(hào)和“雪龍2”號(hào)共同執(zhí)行考察任務(wù)。這是中國自第36次南極科學(xué)考察之后，第二次派遣兩艘破冰船在同一個(gè)“考察季”奔赴南極。其中，“雪龍2”號(hào)已于4月20日返回上海。

The scientific venture involved a range of tasks, including the replenishment of materials and staff rotation at China's Zhongshan Station and Great Wall Station in the region, as well as marine observations and oceanic ecosystem investigations.
中國第38次南極科學(xué)考察順利完成南極長城站、中山站物資補(bǔ)給和人員輪換任務(wù)，開展了站基多學(xué)科和近岸海洋業(yè)務(wù)化觀測，對(duì)南大洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行了調(diào)查，取得了多項(xiàng)科研成果。
