China plans to recruit 84,330 college graduates as teachers in rural primary and middle schools in 2021 as part of efforts to promote rural vitalization, the Ministry of Education said Wednesday.
為鞏固拓展脫貧攻堅成果，教育部、財政部4月7日聯(lián)合發(fā)布2021年農(nóng)村義務(wù)教育階段特崗教師實施工作通知。2021年，全國計劃招聘特崗教師84330名。

The recruitment is mainly for the once-impoverished areas and those inhabited by ethnic groups to consolidate the results of poverty reduction, according to a notice issued by the ministries of education and finance on carrying out the rural special-post teacher recruitment program this year.
通知明確，2021年，"特崗計劃"重點向"三區(qū)三州"、原脫貧攻堅掛牌督戰(zhàn)地區(qū)、少數(shù)民族地區(qū)等地區(qū)傾斜；

The program is expected to enhance the teaching capacity of some weak subjects in rural schools such as arts, foreign languages and information technology, said the notice.
重點為鄉(xiāng)村學(xué)校加強藝術(shù)、外語、信息技術(shù)等緊缺薄弱學(xué)科教師的補充。

It also called for efforts to ensure salaries and social security of the teachers.
通知提出，切實做好特崗教師待遇保障。

China launched the special-post teacher recruitment program in 2006, with the goal of adding college graduates to the insufficient teaching resources of compulsory education in rural areas.
我國自2006年啟動"特崗計劃"，招聘高校畢業(yè)生到師資緊缺的農(nóng)村義務(wù)教育階段學(xué)校任教。
