蘋(píng)果將在德國(guó)下架兩款iPhone

Apple is pausing sales of some older iPhones inGermany during a patent fight with chipmakerQualcomm.

在與芯片制造商高通的專利戰(zhàn)中，蘋(píng)果暫停了部分舊款iPhone在德國(guó)的銷售。

On Dec. 20, the District Court of Munich found thatApple infringed Qualcomm's technology for powersavings in smartphones and ruled that the iPhonemaker must halt sales of the device in Germany, according to Qualcomm's release.

高通的新聞稿稱，12月20日，慕尼黑地方法院裁定，蘋(píng)果侵犯了高通的智能手機(jī)節(jié)能技術(shù)，并判定這家iPhone制造商必須停止在德國(guó)銷售該設(shè)備。

Apple said in a statement at the time that it plans to appeal the ruling, with the aim ofdelaying -- and eventually overturning -- the court's injunction against sales.

蘋(píng)果當(dāng)時(shí)在一份聲明中表示，計(jì)劃對(duì)這一裁決提出上訴，目的是推遲并最終推翻該法院對(duì)蘋(píng)果手機(jī)的銷售禁令。

 

 

Apple said, though, that during the appeals process, it wouldn't sell the older iPhone 7 andiPhone 8 at its 15 retail stores in Germany.

不過(guò)蘋(píng)果也表示，在上訴過(guò)程期間，不會(huì)在德國(guó)的15家零售店銷售iPhone 7和iPhone 8。

Last Thursday, Qualcomm made the sales ban official by posting 1.34 billion euros in bondscovering potential damages incurred by Apple should the judgment be overturned oramended on appeal.

無(wú)論最終的判決是否會(huì)將原有的結(jié)論推翻或更改，為彌補(bǔ)由蘋(píng)果公司侵權(quán)對(duì)其帶來(lái)的損失，高通在上周四發(fā)行了13.4億歐元的擔(dān)保債券，正式宣布了這一銷售禁令。

The recent iPhone XS models and iPhone XR will still be for sale, Apple said in December. Andat the time, it said all iPhone models would still be available through its carriers and third-party retailers in 6,000 German locations.

蘋(píng)果在去年12月表示，最新推出的iPhone XS機(jī)型和iPhone XR仍將繼續(xù)發(fā)售。當(dāng)時(shí)該公司表示，所有iPhone型號(hào)仍將通過(guò)其在德國(guó)6000個(gè)地點(diǎn)的運(yùn)營(yíng)商和第三方零售商進(jìn)行銷售。
