袁隆平團(tuán)隊(duì)的超級(jí)雜交稻再創(chuàng)紀(jì)錄

Yuan Longping, the "father of hybrid rice," and his team have set a new world record in super hybrid rice output, the science and technology department of Hebei Province said last Monday.

河北省科技廳上周一表示，“雜交水稻之父”袁隆平和他的團(tuán)隊(duì)在超級(jí)雜交水稻產(chǎn)量上創(chuàng)造了新的世界紀(jì)錄。

The new world record was set in test fields in the city of Handan, which achieved an average yield of 1,203.36 kilograms of rice per mu (about 0.07 hectares) of farmland. The tested rice variety was Xiangliangyou 900.

創(chuàng)造了新的世界紀(jì)錄的是邯鄲市的試驗(yàn)田，平均畝產(chǎn)(約0.07公頃)達(dá)到了1203.36公斤。試驗(yàn)水稻品種為湘兩優(yōu)900(超優(yōu)千號(hào))。

Yuan, who developed the world's first hybrid rice in 1974, has set multiple world records in hybrid rice yield in previous years.

袁隆平于1974年試驗(yàn)出世界上第一種雜交水稻，在過(guò)去幾年里，他創(chuàng)造了多項(xiàng)雜交水稻產(chǎn)量的世界紀(jì)錄。

Since the beginning of 2016, Yuan's team has managed 42 hybrid rice test fields in 16 provincial regions across China, including Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Chongqing, and Hunan.

In 2017, he achieved a return of 1,149.02 kilograms of rice per mu with the same variety in the same test fields.
