德國一男子被小松鼠狂追 嚇到報(bào)警

German police have come to the rescue of a man being chased by a baby squirrel.

近日，德國警方拯救了一名被小松鼠追趕的男子。

Officers in the south-western city of Karlsruhe responded to the call for help and arrived to see the creature still terrorising the caller.

德國西南部城市卡爾斯魯厄的官員接到了求助電話，趕到現(xiàn)場后這只動物仍在恐嚇打電話者。

The squirrel was taken into custody after it abruptly fell asleep.

在小松鼠突然睡著后，警察將其“拘捕”。

A police report of the incident say the persistent rodent has become their new mascot, and has been dubbed Karl-Friedrich.

警方關(guān)于這一事件的報(bào)道指出，這只倔強(qiáng)的嚙齒動物已成為他們的新吉祥物，并被稱為卡爾-弗里德里希。

 

According to the report, baby Karl-Friedrich is being well looked after in an animal rescue centre.

據(jù)報(bào)道，嬰兒卡爾-弗里德里希在動物救援中心得到了很好的照顧。

Squirrels are known to chase after human beings when in need of food or help.

眾所周知，松鼠在需要食物或幫助時會追逐人類。

Police spokeswoman Christina Krenz told the Guardian squirrels that have lost their mothers can focus their attention on one person as a replacement.

警方發(fā)言人克里斯蒂娜·克倫茲向《衛(wèi)報(bào)》透露，失去母親的松鼠會將注意力集中在一個人身上，將其當(dāng)作母親的替代者。

"It can be pretty scary," she said, determining that the caller "was certainly feeling a bit threatened".

她表示：“這有可能是非常嚇人的。”她認(rèn)為來電求助者“肯定感覺到有點(diǎn)受到威脅”。

Squirrel attacks are not always so benign. In July last year, New York authorities warned Prospect Park visitors to avoid an "unusually aggressive" squirrel who attacked five people in the space of one week.

松鼠的襲擊并不總是那么溫和。去年7月，紐約當(dāng)局警告普羅斯佩克特公園的游客，要遠(yuǎn)離一只“具有明顯攻擊性”的松鼠，因?yàn)檫@只松鼠在一周內(nèi)襲擊了五個人。
