我國自主研發(fā)抗艾滋病新藥獲批上市

China's first domestically developed long-actinginjectable AIDS drug will be available to the publicin August, and is expected to benefit tens ofthousands of people infected with HIV.

我國首款自主研發(fā)的長效注射用抗艾滋病新藥將于8月上市，有望造福于數(shù)十萬名艾滋感染者。

The drug, Albuvirtide, was recently approved by theState Drug Administration, according to a notice onthe administration's website.

根據(jù)國家藥品監(jiān)督管理局網(wǎng)站發(fā)布的通知，新藥“艾博衛(wèi)泰”近日獲批上市。

Developed by Nanjing-based Frontier Biotechnologies, the drug is said to be able to block thefusion of the virus and host cell membranes, interrupting the HIV life cycle in its earlieststage.

該藥由前沿生物藥業(yè)(南京)股份有限公司研發(fā)，據(jù)稱可以通過抑制病毒包膜與人體細(xì)胞膜的融合，從而在感染初始環(huán)節(jié)阻斷病毒復(fù)制周期。

 

It could potentially enhance patient compliance, improve quality of life and reducetreatment costs for HIV-infected patients, according to the company. Its price has not beenreleased yet.

該公司表示，這款新藥有望提高患者的依從性，提高生活質(zhì)量，降低艾滋病患者的治療成本。其價格目前還沒有公布。

Zhao Jianzhong, an official with the administration's drug approval center, said in a newsreport that the drug "offers a new option for HIV treatment" in China.

國家藥品監(jiān)督管理局藥品審批中心的官員趙建中在一則新聞報道中表示，這種藥物在中國“為艾滋病治療提供了一種新的選擇”。

"We encourage clinical research and the domestic development of drugs, and at the sametime, we are accelerating the introduction of imported drugs to meet the urgent needs of ourHIV/AIDS patients," said Wang Tao, the head of the administration's drug approval center.

藥品審評中心負(fù)責(zé)人王濤稱：“我們鼓勵國內(nèi)創(chuàng)新藥做臨床研發(fā)，同時我們對國際上發(fā)達(dá)國家已經(jīng)上市的藥物，也是盡快地把它引進(jìn)到中國來，來解決我們的用藥需求。”
