朝鮮周三凌晨發(fā)射又一枚彈道導(dǎo)彈

North Korea is believed to have fired off a ballistic missile in the early hours of Wednesday morning, ratcheting up tensions between Pyongyang and Washington.

朝鮮據(jù)信在周三凌晨發(fā)射了一枚彈道導(dǎo)彈，使平壤方面與華盛頓方面的緊張關(guān)系進一步加劇。

The Pentagon confirmed on Tuesday that it was “probable” North Korea had fired a ballistic missile at around 1:30pm Washington time, but that it was still assessing the launch.

五角大樓證實，朝鮮“很可能”在華盛頓時間周二下午1時30分左右發(fā)射了一枚彈道導(dǎo)彈，但其仍在對此次發(fā)射進行評估。

A State Department official said the agency was “aware of reports of a North Korean missile launch” and that it would be providing additional information when it became available.

美國國務(wù)院一名官員表示，其“知道有關(guān)朝鮮發(fā)射導(dǎo)彈的報道”，將在掌握更多情況后提供進一步信息。

The launch was first reported by Yonhap news agency and subsequently confirmed by South Korea’s joint chiefs of staff.

韓國聯(lián)合通訊社(Yonhap)率先報道了此次發(fā)射，隨后韓國參謀長聯(lián)席會議(Joint Chiefs of Staff)證實了這件事。
