輝煌中國，成就輝煌

A documentary has chronicled China`s economic and social progress over the past five years, as the world`s second largest economy is gearing up for a key Party congress this month.

就在全球第二大經(jīng)濟體即將于本月召開一次重要的黨代會之際，一部紀錄片記錄下了過去五年中國在經(jīng)濟和社會發(fā)展上取得的成就。

A six-episode series "Amazing China" highlights innovation, coordination, greening, opening up and inclusiveness since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 2012.

這部六集紀錄片名為《輝煌中國》，突出呈現(xiàn)了自2012年十八大召開以來的創(chuàng)新、協(xié)調(diào)、綠色、開放以及共享的發(fā)展理念。

The first two episodes that have been aired focused on infrastructure -- bridges, expressways, high speed rail -- and new ideas such as shared bikes, mobile payments and aerospace technology.

已播出的前兩集關注的是基礎設施方面——橋梁、高速公路、高速鐵路——以及共享單車、移動支付和航天技術等新觀念。

"People have felt the benefit of the progress," said Shen Yi, deputy director of Fudan University cyberspace governance study center.

“人們已經(jīng)感受到了這些成就所帶來的好處，”復旦大學網(wǎng)絡空間治理研究中心副主任沈逸表示。

The 19th CPC National Congress will be held this month.

黨的十九大將于本月召開。

Over the past five years, despite a global economic slowdown, China`s economy is stable and has seen an average annual GDP growth of 7.2 percent from 2013 to 2016.

在過去的五年中，盡管全球經(jīng)濟增長放緩，但中國的經(jīng)濟卻一直保持穩(wěn)定。2013-2016年，中國的年均GDP增速為7.2%。

Now, China has the world`s longest sea bridge, the largest 4G network, the longest highway network and the longest high-speed rail network.

如今，中國擁有世界上最長的跨海大橋、最大的4G網(wǎng)絡、最長的公路網(wǎng)和高鐵網(wǎng)。

The mileage of the high-speed rail totals 22,000 kilometers, exceeding the other top ten countries combined. Nearly 60 percent of the network was built in the past five years.

我國高鐵里程達22000公里，超過了高鐵里程數(shù)世界前十的其余國家之和。大約有60%的鐵路網(wǎng)都是在過去五年間建成的。

For Tian Guangdong, head of an entrepreneurship park, the documentary filled him with new ideas.

對于某創(chuàng)意園區(qū)負責人田廣東而言，這部紀錄片給他帶來了新理念。

"I found philosophies in the second episode that could be applied to our projects," he said.

“我發(fā)現(xiàn)第二集中的思想能夠應用在我們的項目上，”他說道。

Over the past five years, Chinese leaders have underscored the significance of innovation for the country`s science and technology development.

在過去的五年間，我國領導人強調(diào)了國家科技發(fā)展創(chuàng)新的重要性。

"The support of the government for innovation is heartily welcomed, breeding a burst of entrepreneurship among the public," said Shen.

“政府對于創(chuàng)新的支持受到了熱烈歡迎，在公眾中萌發(fā)了一股企業(yè)家精神，”沈逸表示。

The documentary said China sold around 90,000 industrial robots last year and has become a leader in supercomputers, aerospace, maritime engineering, logistics and mobile payments.

紀錄片中講到，我國去年售出了約90000個工業(yè)機器人，成為了在超級計算機、航空航天、海事工程、物流以及移動支付方面的領跑者。

Over 2.65 million overseas students had returned to China by the end of 2016, 70 percenter since the 18th CPC National Congress, according to the documentary. These returnees will be a mainstay to fulfilling the Party`s two centennial goal.

根據(jù)紀錄片中的數(shù)據(jù)，截至2016年底，我國留學回國人數(shù)超過265萬，其中70%的人都是十八大以后歸國的。這些歸國留學生將成為實現(xiàn)黨的“兩個一百年”奮斗目標的主力。

"The documentary shows the Party`s determination to achieve those goals and public confidence in the Party," said Shen.

“這部紀錄片展現(xiàn)了黨實現(xiàn)這些奮斗目標的決心以及黨的公信力，”沈逸說道。
