2016里約奧運(yùn)會:難民代表隊(duì)將首次參加

　　A team of refugees will compete for the first time atthis summer's Olympics in Rio. Previously, athleteswho did not represent a country were not allowed tocompete.

　　今夏在里約熱內(nèi)盧舉行的奧運(yùn)會將首次迎來一支由難民組成的代表隊(duì)。而在此之前，僅有代表本國的運(yùn)動員才能參加競技。

　　The team will likely number between five and 10athletes, the committee said in a statement, and"will be treated at the Olympic Games like all theother teams."

　　奧委會在一份聲明中表示，這個隊(duì)伍將由5-10名運(yùn)動員組成，“他們會與其他隊(duì)伍一樣被同等對待”。

　　"By welcoming Refugee Olympic Athletes to the Olympic Games in Rio, we want to send amessage of hope to all the refugees of the world," said International Olympic CommitteePresident Thomas Bach.

　　國際奧委會主席巴赫表示：“通過歡迎難民運(yùn)動員參加里約奧運(yùn)會，我們想向全世界的難民傳達(dá)希望的信息。”

　　Here's more from Bach: "Having no national team to belong to, having no flag to marchbehind, having no national anthem to be played, these refugee athletes will be welcomed tothe Olympic Games with the Olympic flag and with the Olympic Anthem. They will have a hometogether with all the other 11,000 athletes from 206 National Olympic Committees in theOlympic village."

　　巴赫表示：“這些難民運(yùn)動員將不屬于任何國家隊(duì)，不會跟隨國旗列隊(duì)而過，也沒有國歌為他們奏響。奧運(yùn)會歡迎他們，奧林匹克旗幟將為他們而升起，奧林匹克會歌將為他們而奏。他們和其他來自206個奧委會成員的11000名運(yùn)動員一樣，屬于奧運(yùn)村這個大家庭。”

　　The IOC said it has identified 43 contenders for the places on the team and the final group willbe announced in June. Along with athletic prowess, potential team members will beassessed by "official refugee status verified by the United Nations, and personal situation andbackground."

　　奧委會表示最后參加隊(duì)伍的人將從43名競爭者中選出，結(jié)果將于6月宣布。除了運(yùn)動技能之外，聯(lián)合國官方認(rèn)可的難民身份，個人情況以及背景都是考察評估的因素。

　　A refugee would also carry the torch during the Greek leg of the flame relay. The team willmarch in the opening ceremony on Aug 5 just before the athletes from host Brazil.

　　據(jù)悉，一名難民還將參與希臘站的圣火傳遞活動。在8月5日舉行的開幕式上，難民代表隊(duì)將在東道主巴西隊(duì)前出場。
