Alone holding an oil-paper umbrella，
I wander along a long
SoIitary lane in the rain，
Hoping to encounter
A girl like a bouquet of lilacs
Gnawed by anxiety and resentment.

Feeling melancholy in the rain，

Silently she comes closer，
Closer, giving me
A glance like a sigh，
Then she floats past
Like a dream，

Floating past in a dream，

To the crumbling wall，

In the mournful melody of the rain，
Her color has faded，
Her fragrance has disppeared，
Vanished into the void；

像夢一般地

背景知識
戴望舒（1905～1950），現(xiàn)代詩人，又稱“雨巷詩人”，中國現(xiàn)代派象征主義詩人。戴望舒為筆名，原名戴朝安。戴望舒的詩歌主要受中國古典詩歌和法國象征主義詩人影響較大，前者如晚唐溫庭筠、李商隱，后者如魏爾倫、果爾蒙、耶麥等，作為現(xiàn)代派新詩的舉旗人，無論理論還是創(chuàng)作實踐，都對中國新詩的發(fā)展產(chǎn)生過相當(dāng)大的影響。
