Vitamin E, or alpha-tocopherol is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is primarily found in green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, seafood, and fruits. It is an essential fat-soluble nutrient that has many health benefits.

Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant and is believed to have a number of cardiovascular protective properties that may help prevent heart disease. The buildup of bad cholesterol in the arteries makes it harder for your heart to pump to circulate blood, increasing the risk of a heart attack.
