The young idol made a long-awaited comeback as an increasingly mature actor, with his best known role as Mei Changsu in the 2015 television drama,Nirvana in Fire, for which he received the Best Actor Award at the 22nd Magnolia Awards.

Liu started her career as star of a film adapted from Geling Yan's novelXiao Yu.
