B: She had been riding the subway when she had the idea to call me, she asked where Carl and I were so I told her she decided that she would visit the Statue of Liberty with us. Carl had been getting more and more irritated with Lucy, but that was too much for him.

B：她當(dāng)時正在坐地鐵，突然想打電話給我，她問我和卡爾在哪里，所以我告訴她，她決定和我們一起去自由女神像。卡爾對露西越來越生氣，但他也有點過了。

A: Why didn't you just tell Lucy that you wanted more alone time with Carl?
