B: You can try volunteering at the soup kitchen too once in a while.

A: Well, I like to help people but I dislike cooking.
A：我喜歡幫助別人，但我不喜歡做飯。

B: You don't actually have to cook soup, you can volunteer to serve. Why do you dislike cooking anyway?
B：其實(shí)你不必親自下廚做湯，你可以自愿去幫忙。你為什么不喜歡做飯呢？

A: I can never get the recipe right, it's always too salty too sour too sweet. I'll never forget making a fool of myself when I cooked dinner for some friends, it was so horrible that they couldn't eat it. That's why I hate to cook, I prefer eating out.
A：我永遠(yuǎn)不能很好的模仿菜譜，要么太咸，要么太酸，要么太甜。我永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記我為一些朋友做晚餐時(shí)出丑的經(jīng)歷，太難吃了所以他們根本吃不下。這就是我討厭做飯的原因，我更喜歡外出吃飯。

B: So you stopped cooking because it didn't taste good?

A: Yes， but I still love to eat the food that other people cook.

A: I cherish our friendship and our time together, I like chatting with you. I promise to do my best to find time for my personal life too. I won't let work take up all my time from now on.
