570　Where is it from？和Who is it from？

1　Where is it from? 中的from 表示“出生，出處”。

I like this black cat. Where is it from ? 我喜歡這只黑貓。它是在哪兒出生的？

Where is he from ? 他是哪兒人？

2　Who is it from? 中的from 表示“來(lái)自”。另外，在英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)中常用who，用whom太正式。

“Here is a letter for you.” “Who is it from ? ”“這里有你一封信?！薄罢l(shuí)寫(xiě)來(lái)的？”（意為“從誰(shuí)那里來(lái)的？” ）
