　漢語的“一個半……”在英語中可有兩種表示法：one and a half+復(fù)數(shù)名詞，one+單數(shù)名詞+a half 。注意，這兩種結(jié)構(gòu)不同，名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)也不同。

He ate one and a half apples . （正）他吃了一個半蘋果 。

He ate one apple and a half . （正）

He ate one apple and a half apple. （誤）

She gave me one and a half cakes. （正）她給我一塊半蛋糕 。

She gave me one cake and a half . （正）

她花了一個半小時做作業(yè) 。

She spent one and a half hours doing her homework. （正）

She spent one hour and a half doing her homework. （正）

提示

①兩個半……，三個半……等類似說法，也都用上面這兩種表示法，如：“兩個半橘子”是two and a half oranges或two oranges and a half。

②one or two+復(fù)數(shù)名詞意為“一兩個……”，如：one or two books （一兩本書），one or two days （一兩天），但不可說成one book or two, one day or two。
