a change of pace: 改變習慣、活動方式以調劑一下；換換口味。

jovial: 熱情快活的，善良愉快的（尤指天生快樂的人）

tailor to: 根據……改變或調整。同義的表達還有accord with; account to; adapt; be favourable for等。

meet expenses: 應付開支；繳納費用。meet表示“支付；解決”的意思。例如：His income is inadequate to meet the expenses. 他入不敷出。
