忽然收到好消息：her fiancé, Ouyang Xu was ranked third in the national civil examination.未婚夫喜中探花。但歐陽旭卻will now be marringthe daughter of a high-ranking official（要另娶當朝高官之女）。不甘心的趙盼兒decides to go to Bianjing（決定前去汴京），想要hear the news from Ouyang himself（聽到未婚夫親口承認）。

在去汴京的途中，ourheroineZhao Pan’er遇見并救出了兩個女人——宋引章和孫三娘，她們are suffering abuse in awful marriages（飽受婚姻的痛苦）。然后她們?nèi)齻€就一起travel to the capital。
